Anthony Wayne Lions Club Membership

We are always looking for good men and women, additional members, to allow us to meet new people and to expand our Club’s talents and abilities.  This allows us to expand our services and benefits to our community, our State, and through our part in Lions Clubs International, to our Nation and the World.

HOW TO JOIN THE ANTHONY WAYNE LIONS?

If you are interested in joining, please complete an application and contact any of our club members or our Membership Chair, Onie Mensch, at (260) 750-6643.   Lions Membership is open to anyone ages 18 and older.  Leo Membership is open to students in grades 6 – 12.

Membership is equal opportunity and non-discriminatory.   Lions Clubs International affirms a policy of non-discrimination in all programs and activities without regard to race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, gender, marital status, age, disability, veteran status or any other legally protected status.

WHEN AND WHERE THE ANTHONY WAYNE LIONS MEET?

Our members meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, September through May at Friends Too restaurant, 3720 West Jefferson Blvd.  Most arrive around 6:30 pm or so to eat together, to work on Club committee matters and to enjoy the comradery before the start of the meeting at 7 pm.

While we don’t have regular meetings in the summer, preparation for several of our projects take place in the summer.

WHAT’S EXPECTED OF INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS WHO JOIN ANTHONY WAYNE LIONS?

Our Club thrives on active and dedicated men and women members who enjoy working  together on well-organized fund raising and service projects, for those in need.  Members aren’t asked to be involved in every Club project, only what they can and have time to do.
